The European Open Rivers Programme is pleased to announce a new call for applications from 21st February 2024, with a deadline for submission of 17:00 CEST on 4th April 2024. Whether you are proposing a programme-supported dam removal (Categories A1-A4) or seeking a grant to enable others to remove dams (Category B), we welcome your innovative ideas and impactful projects.
To guide you through the application process, we recommend reviewing our information guide and application resources available on the programme website. Eligible applicants can submit their proposals through the online application portal. Please note that applications are accepted under categories A: programme-supported dam removal and B: enabling others to remove dams.
The next call for dam removal applications (grant categories A3 and A4 ONLY) is scheduled for 14 June 2024 (dates subject to change at the programme’s discretion). Stay tuned for more details.
