The European Open Rivers Programme is inviting project submissions for dam removal: demolition grants from 3rd November 2023, with the application window closing on 8th December 2023. The programme is particularly interested in supporting dam removal projects that will enable at least 10 km of river to flow freely again.
Eligible applicants are encouraged to read our information guide and application resources on the programme website. To submit applications, please visit the online application portal. Please note you will only be able to apply under categories A3 and A4.
The next open call for applications for all programme grant categories is scheduled for February 2024 (dates subject to change at programme discretion). More details will follow soon. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding new project applications.
